Rehearsals are held every Wednesday from 7.00 - 10.00pm at

Abbotskerswell Village Hall, Abbotskerswell. TQ12 5YF

If you are thinking of joining us you are more than welcome to

come along to see us.

You do not need to be able to read music but you would need to

be able to commit yourself to coming to rehearsals every week

and to some extra as we prepare for convention which takes

place in October.

For more information please ring Jane: 01626 203901

Sometimes we have workshops with special guests. The photo above is with Theresa Weatherbee from Canada who specialises in performance.

Voice parts

There are four voice parts in barbershop singing.

Tenor -  is the highest and sings a harmony above the lead.

Lead - sings the melody or tune

Baritone - is a harmony which weaves around the lead line and covers a similar range of notes to the lead.

Bass -  is the lowest part and very important in grounding the rest of the singers.

We are currently open for any ladies wishing to join us, whatever your vocal range
